Eligibility for assessment and prescribing for minor ailments will be assessed by the pharmacist at the time of your appointment.

Bladder/Urinary Tract Infection
Infection in the urinary system.
Frequently experienced symptoms
- You may experience frequent urination.
- Pain in your lower abdomen could indicate this infection.
- Notice if your urine appears cloudy or foul-smelling.
- Look out for minor blood in your urine.

NOTE: Pharmacists may only assess and prescribe for uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) and must follow clinical guidelines when providing minor ailment services.
Some factors that may be considered complicated under the applicable guidelines and require referral to a physician or a nurse practitioner include pregnancy, immunocompromised patients, relapse of UTI within 4 weeks of previous episode, and individuals assigned male at birth.
